OUR MISSION IS TO BE THE LEADING PROVIDER OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE AND SAFETY SERVICES FOR ALL INDUSTRIES IN ALBERTA AND ACROSS WESTERN CANADA.
Alexander Safety was created from a vision. A vision that sees Alexander First Nation and Indigenous Peoples thriving in all aspects of life and community. We are devoted to generating meaningful employment, income, and training opportunities for Alexander members to establish sustainability in work and job security in the nation. Alexander Safety, by virtue of its work, disseminates funds back to Alexander First Nation to assist in developing the Nation’s economy, while providing additional support for underfunded programs.
We utilize our professional expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to consistently exceed industry standards and surpass client expectations. We commit to ensuring safety without compromising productivity. We create economic opportunities that build sustainable and resilient communities while generating local prosperity, growth, and positive social impact for the Alexander Nation.
Indigenous Impact
There is a distinct trend within Canadian industries to work more closely with Indigenous organizations; to grow energy development in a sustainable and mutually beneficial manner. As engagement between Indigenous communities and the industry deepens, there is a growing recognition of the value that Indigenous businesses hold as suppliers of goods and services.

These collaborations allow them to improve environmental performance, meet regulatory requirements, enhance corporate reputation, and broaden commercial relationships. Alexander Safety is a 100% Indigenous Medical Safety company owned by the Alexander First Nation. We are committed to the betterment and prosperity of the Nation and we are devoted to generating meaningful employment and training opportunities for Alexander members. Revenues realized from Alexander Safety are disseminated back through Alexander Contracting & Construction (ACC), and enhance the capacity and sustainability of the Nation, while providing support to underfunded programs within the community.
ULTIMATELY, ORGANIZATIONS RECOGNIZE THAT SUSTAINABLE INDIGENOUS ECONOMIC FUTURES ARE CRITICAL TO BUILDING A STRONGER INDUSTRY AND A STRONGER CANADA.
The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business recommends a minimum target of 5% of a company’s procurement spend to be supplied by Indigenous businesses in order to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace, at all points along the value chain.
